D&A Blooms Ltd is a family-owned, award-winning horticultural nursery specialising in high-impact floral displays for the luxury hospitality, leisure, private client, and public realm sectors across Ireland.
Based at Mellifont Abbey, Co. Louth, we grow the majority of our own plants in controlled glasshouse and polytunnel environments, giving us full control over quality, colour consistency, and continuity of supply at scale. Our in-house production model ensures strong biosecurity, full traceability, and consistently high standards from propagation to installation.
We design, supply, install, and maintain year-round displays including hanging baskets, window boxes, large planters, entrance features, and bespoke statement installations for hotels, resorts, restaurants, visitor attractions, shopping centres, local authorities, and private residences.
We also contract grow bedding plants for selected clients, producing tailored plant ranges to exact specifications, ensuring uniformity, performance, and reliability on large programmes.
Sustainability is embedded in our operation, with peat-reduced compost trials, biological pest controls, water-efficient irrigation, and minimal heating regimes.
