SPL Foods Ltd is a Third Generation Family Business. Our journey began in 1947 as a humble retail butchery venture in the heart of Oldham.
During the 1970’s and 80’s through rapid growth and a series of acquisitions; we saw SPL transform into packers, rice millers, and importers of speciality ingredients. Simon’s Poultry Ltd. transformed into an international commodity trading company, becoming SPL Foods Ltd in 1984.
At SPL Foods, our goal is simple – to import the finest dried foods from across the globe and tailor them to serve a diverse range of customers.
We also offer private label solutions, tailoring our expertise to your brand. And don’t forget to explore our very own brand, Triple Lion.
All Triple Lion products are packed according to strict quality control systems, whether they are sourced and packed in our own factory in the UK or packed at third party facilities elsewhere in the world. Our entire supply chain, irrespective of the product, is BRC, or equivalent, accredited and fully traceable.
SPL have now opened our Northern Ireland Subsidiary to overcome post-Brexit trade challenges. Establishing a local presence in Northern Ireland allows us to minimise disruption, serve our customers more efficiently, and promote future growth across all of Ireland.
